Rotary Club of Katy Donates $24,150 to Local Nonprofits
Rotary Club of Katy, a long-standing fixture of the Katy community, issued another round of donations to nine local nonprofits totaling $24,150. Rotary Club of Katy's signature, annual events served as the source of this philanthropic achievement.
The Wild West Brewfest, Katy Triathlon, and Katy Rice Harvest Festival have all been instrumental in raising the funds that Rotary Club has been able to distribute. The Wild West Brewfest, with its tempting array of craft beers, the Katy Triathlon that challenges both body and spirit, and the Katy Rice Harvest Festival, which celebrates the town's rich history and culture, all serve as substantial fundraising avenues for the Club.
