Registration Now Open for Camp Blaze by Harris County ESD No. 48 Fire Department
Harris County ESD No. 48 is offering their first annual Camp Blaze from June 13 - 15, 2023.
Similar to Camp Spark for girls, Camp Blaze is open to 25 male students that are between 14 and 18 years of age. Camp Blaze will provide a unique insight into life as a Firefighter and/or EMS professional to encourage young men to consider fire and EMS service as a career. Participants will take part in a fun-filled three-day camp of physical training, classes and Fire/EMS simulations. They will also have the chance to ask questions, train, and interact with firefighters and medics from HCESD48 and other Greater Houston Area departments.
Thanks to the generosity of sponsors, Camp Blaze is completely free of charge to participants. Harris County ESD No. 48 is currently working to secure a sponsor for Camp Blaze. If you are interested in sponsoring, please email Chief Tharp at jason.tharp@hcesd48.org.
