A clean car can help create meaningful opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities when Tidal Wave Auto Spa hosts its annual Charity Day in Katy.
The Arc of Katy has been selected as one of the local nonprofit recipients benefiting from the fundraiser on Friday, Sept. 18. Throughout Charity Day, 100% of proceeds from participating Tidal Wave Auto Spa locations will support local charitable organizations, including The Arc of Katy.
Participants, families and staff members from The Arc of Katy will be at the Falcon Landing location to greet customers, meet community members and share more about the nonprofit’s mission.
The Arc of Katy creates opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, often referred to as IDD, to be included as respected and active members of their communities throughout their lives. Through meaningful activities, friendships, community outings, service projects and other experiences, participants can strengthen their independence, confidence, connections and sense of belonging.
Katy-area residents are invited to bring their vehicles in for a wash, visit with The Arc of Katy community and support programs that help individuals with IDD connect, grow and thrive.
