Nominations Now Open for Names of New Lamar CISD Schools
Beginning on September 1, Lamar CISD is accepting nominations for the names of four new elementary schools. The schools will be built with funds from the November 2022 Bond. Staff, parents, and community members are invited to submit nominations for the Board to review as a part of this process.
The deadline to submit nominations is Friday, September 22. Be sure to complete the nomination form to be considered. Before submitting your nomination, please review Board Policy CW (LOCAL) which outlines the requirements for naming a facility. The Board of Trustees is tentatively scheduled to approve the school names on Tuesday, November 14.
