Morton Ranch HS Robotics Team to Host STEM Camp Next Week
Next week, the Morton Ranch High School's robotics team, Nuts N' Boltz, will host a girls STEM camp from June 19 - 22 at the Robert Shaw Center.
This past April, the Nuts N' Boltz team was one of six teams from Katy ISD to compete at the FIRST Texas District Championship meet, where they won the Spirit Award. The FIRST World Championship is an international competition where over 600 top robotics teams from around the world compete to take the prestigious title of being named a “FIRST Robotics Competition World Champion.”
The camp will be offered from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM for girls entering second through fifth grade. The cost is $100 per student and includes all activities for each day of the camp, as well as a snack each day. Camp organizers will accept cash at the door and are currently working to get a Pay N Go for the event. Please visit the registration page to register for the event. When the Pay N Go is active, camp organizers will message you with the link.
