The 8th Annual Montgomery County Home & Outdoor Living Show is back and bigger than ever, promising an exciting weekend of inspiration, innovation, and community connection. Held Saturday and Sunday, March 7–8, 2026, at the Lone Star Convention & Expo Center in Conroe, this popular home improvement event offers homeowners a one-stop destination for everything from remodeling ideas and décor to gardening tips and solar technology.

With free admission and free parking, it’s the perfect weekend outing for families, DIY enthusiasts, and anyone looking to elevate their living space this spring.

Discover Your Dream Home Inspiration

Attendees can explore an expansive exhibitor hall filled with local experts and vendors offering the latest in home design, remodeling, landscaping, and custom furnishings. From artisan woodwork and seasonal décor to cutting-edge roofing and energy solutions, this is the go-to event for homeowners ready to take on a project—or find the right pro to do it for them.

The Lone Star Convention Center, located at 9055 Airport Rd, Conroe, TX 77303, provides plenty of parking and space to roam. Show hours are Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Special Guest Speakers and Live Demonstrations

The weekend is packed with appearances from Houston’s favorite home and garden experts. Tom Tynan, host of HomeShow Radio on SportsRadio 610, will be on-site Saturday with a live radio broadcast from 9 a.m. to noon, followed by a Q&A at the HomeShow Radio Experts Booth from noon to 2 p.m.

Skip Richter, gardening expert and new host of GardenLine on AM 740 KTRH, will meet attendees for one-on-one conversations at his booth just outside the Presentation Stage from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Also scheduled on Saturday:

  • 1:00 p.m. – Building Your Own Dream Home with Bryson Janecek, President of Built Green Custom Homes
  • 1:30 p.m. – A New Era of Roofing: Tesla Solar Shingles for Texas Homes with Joshua Juarez, CEO of True Texas Solar
  • 2:00 p.m. – Building Your Dream Home: A Health-Focused Strategy by Conscious Healthy Home
  • 2:30 p.m. – Clear the Chaos! with Linda Creswell of ShelfGenie of Houston

Sunday sessions include encore presentations from Peyton Janecek, Joshua Juarez, and Linda Creswell.

Bonus Features: Kids Market & Gardening Experts

A crowd favorite returns Saturday only: the Children’s Entrepreneur Market, open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This inspiring initiative empowers young business minds (ages 5–17) to showcase and sell their handmade products. It’s a “market run by kids” that offers visitors a chance to support youth entrepreneurship and take home unique, creative goods.

Gardeners won’t want to miss the Montgomery County Master Gardeners booth, where you can get expert advice and even take home a free plant while supplies last.
