From October 13 to 15, the Katy Rice Harvest Festival will once again fill Historic Town Square in Katy with laughter, family fun, delectable smells and live music. Established in 1980, the Festival was originally born to showcase the rich history of Katy as the "Rice Capital of the World". Over the years, the Festival has grown in popularity, welcoming as many as 50,000 guests annually. The Festival is hosted by the City of Katy, in conjunction with The Rotary Club of Katy. All net proceeds from the Katy Rice Festival will benefit The Rotary Club of Katy fund for scholarships and donations to the local Katy community.
