Katy Christian Ministries Hosts Silent Witness 2024: A Night of Remembrance and Advocacy

October 09 2024

Katy Christian Ministries (KCM) invites the community to the Silent Witness 2024 event on October 24 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Westland Baptist Church in Katy. This poignant gathering aims to raise awareness about domestic violence and honor those who have tragically lost their lives due to these injustices.

The event will feature a powerful exhibit showcasing life-sized silhouettes, each representing a victim of domestic violence. This moving display serves as a solemn reminder of the lives affected and brings attention to the urgent need for advocacy. As KCM notes, “Your presence and support will help raise awareness and much-needed funds to combat family violence in our community.”

The evening promises to be both impactful and informative, including a dinner, a keynote speaker, and a special recognition for an individual making significant contributions to the cause.

Katy Christian Ministries plays a crucial role in supporting those impacted by domestic violence and sexual abuse, offering hope, help, and safety through compassionate services. Their approach is comprehensive, providing a range of free and confidential services tailored to meet the diverse needs of survivors in Katy and surrounding areas. With a 24/7 crisis hotline and trained advocates available year-round, KCM ensures that essential resources, such as crisis intervention, safety planning, peer counseling, and therapy, are readily accessible.
