Katy Christian Ministries Hosting Third Annual Happy Feet and Red Apples Initiative
The time of year is upon us once again when Katy ISD children and their families prepare for the 2023-2024 school year. KCM, along with Compassion Katy, is working towards alleviating the hardship of arriving to school on the first day with no school supplies. KCM's annual Red Apple School Supplies Program and Happy Feet Program is currently underway to meet this need. In 2022, with the support of local churches and our community, KCM was able to provide 998 students with new backpacks and required school supplies. In addition, KCM also provided 743 children with a new pair of shoes to start the school year.
The Red Apple Program has helped thousands of children over the past 29 years. KCM's goal this year is to increase the number of children served by this program to 1,000. KCM is incorporating their Third Annual Happy Feet and Red Apples to ensure children start the year off on the right foot, by providing all registered children with a new pair of shoes, a backpack and needed school supplies. The total fundraising goal for these two programs is $70,000.

- Checks are also accepted, payable to Katy Christian Ministries and “Red Apples” in the memo line, mailed to: P.O. Box 986, Katy, TX 77492.
- Cash donations and other donations can be dropped off at KCM's Administration Office located at 3506 Porter Road, Katy, TX 77493 from Monday through Thursday, 8 AM -5 PM.
- Please ensure that all monetary donations be turned in by August 31, 2023.
