iSmash to Open in Katy Ahead of Holidays, Bringing Rage Room and Splatter Paint Fun Near Katy Mills
Just in time for the holidays, a new kind of high-energy entertainment experience is heading to one of Katy’s busiest shopping and family districts. iSmash, the nation’s fastest-growing Rage Room and Splatter Paint brand, will open its first Greater Houston location at 620 Katy Fort Bend Rd #330, Katy, TX 77450, just across from Typhoon Texas Waterpark and adjacent to Katy Mills Mall.
Slated to open before the end of 2025, iSmash Katy will offer guests the chance to blow off steam, release creativity, and make memories—all in a safe, fun, and high-energy setting. The new location will feature multiple Rage Rooms and blacklight Splatter Paint rooms designed for everything from solo stress relief to family-friendly birthday parties and corporate team-building.
Smashing Stress and Painting Memories
iSmash’s Rage Rooms invite guests to smash everyday objects like glass bottles and electronics with baseball bats and other tools, while the Splatter Paint rooms turn creativity loose with neon paint flung across walls and canvases. Splatter Paint is available for kids as young as three, and Rage Room sessions start at age eight.
Everything is included—from protective gear to supplies—and guests can upgrade with Smash Boxes to personalize their experience. iSmash Katy will also host private events, group outings, and holiday celebrations.

Local Roots, National Energy
The Katy location is being opened by Mitesh Patel, a local entrepreneur with a background in hospitality and retail. Patel and his family have previously operated restaurants in the Houston area and have been involved in various local initiatives over the years.
“Demand for the entertainment sector is booming, and iSmash offers something truly unique in the market,” said Patel. “We’re creating an experience like no other that’s therapeutic, exciting, and perfect for making memories.”
Patel plans to stay deeply engaged with the Katy business community through chamber partnerships and collaborative events.
Powered by iSmash’s National Brand
