Houston Restaurant Weeks 2026 Gives Katy and Fulshear Diners 12 Local Ways to Dine Out and Give Back
From Cinco Ranch and central Katy to Fulshear, Simonton and Harvest Green, Houston Restaurant Weeks is giving Fort Bend County area residents a dozen ways to turn a meal out into something that reaches beyond the restaurant table.
Houston Restaurant Weeks 2026 will run from Aug. 1 through Sept. 7. During the 38-day campaign, participating restaurants will serve specially priced prix fixe brunch, lunch and dinner menus, with a portion of each meal benefiting Houston Food Bank.
The Katy-area lineup includes neighborhood favorites, Brazilian steakhouses, Texas-inspired restaurants and higher-end dining destinations. It also arrives at a time when restaurants and diners are both feeling economic pressure.
Rising ingredient and labor costs, tighter operating margins and a slower summer have made the season difficult for restaurants across Greater Houston. Families are also paying closer attention to discretionary spending. The Restaurant Weeks format gives diners a known menu price while bringing much-needed traffic to local dining rooms.
Katy, Fulshear, Simonton and Richmond Restaurants Participating
The current regional lineup includes:

- Black Walnut — Cinco Ranch
- Federal American Grill — Katy
- Gauchos Do Sul Brazilian Steakhouse — Katy
- Pearl and Vine — Katy
- Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille — Katy
- Phat Eatery — Katy
- Red Flame Steak and Grill — Katy
- Saltgrass Steak House Fulshear
- Saltgrass Steak House Katy/Mason Road
- Tourao Brazilian Churrasqueria – Steakhouse — Katy
- Messina Hof Harvest Green Winery & Kitchen — Richmond
The list gives Katy and Fulshear residents a broad range of experiences without requiring a drive into Houston’s Inner Loop.
Black Walnut in Cinco Ranch offers a neighborhood-oriented option, while Federal American Grill and Pearl and Vine provide contemporary American dining. Perry’s, Red Flame and Saltgrass add several steakhouse choices.
Gauchos Do Sul and Tourao Brazilian Churrasqueria bring two Brazilian steakhouse options to the Katy area. Phat Eatery, which is returning to Houston Restaurant Weeks, gives diners an opportunity to explore Malaysian cuisine.
Farther south, Anthonie’s Market Grill serves the Simonton and Fulshear area, while Messina Hof Harvest Green Winery & Kitchen provides a participating option in the Richmond-area Harvest Green community.
Because menus, prices and available meal periods vary, residents should review each restaurant’s official Houston Restaurant Weeks menu before making reservations.
Supporting the People Behind Katy-Area Restaurants
Houston Restaurant Weeks was founded by the late Cleverley Stone in 2003. A longtime Houston restaurant correspondent and philanthropist, Stone understood that August could be an especially difficult month for restaurants.
She created the Dine Out & Do Good campaign to transform that seasonal slowdown into a citywide reason to eat out while raising money for Houston Food Bank.
The event is produced by The Cleverley Stone Foundation, with Stone’s daughter, Katie Stone, serving as foundation president. The foundation continues Cleverley Stone’s work through Houston Restaurant Weeks and the related Eat Drink HTX event held each February.
“My mother started Houston Restaurant Weeks in 2003 to help restaurants through their hardest month, and that mission has never mattered more than it does right now,” Katie Stone said. “So many of our restaurants are fighting to stay open in a difficult economy. When Houstonians choose to Dine Out & Do Good, they are not only helping feed families through the Houston Food Bank, they are throwing a lifeline to the local businesses and the people behind them who make this city what it is. Every reservation truly makes a difference.”
That message resonates in rapidly growing communities such as Katy and Fulshear. Restaurants often become part of the local routine long before residents think of them as community institutions. They host graduation dinners, business meetings, birthday celebrations, first dates and family meals after youth sports or school events.
Their success supports not only restaurant owners, but also cooks, servers, hosts, bartenders, suppliers and other workers whose livelihoods are tied to the local hospitality economy.
Houston Food Bank’s Work Across the Region
Houston Restaurant Weeks is the largest annual fundraiser benefiting Houston Food Bank. Since the event began, it has raised more than $23 million and helped provide the equivalent of more than 70 million meals.
Houston Food Bank has served Houston and Southeast Texas since 1982. It provides access to approximately 143 million nutritious meals across 18 counties through a network of roughly 1,600 partners.
Those partners include food pantries, schools, soup kitchens and social-service providers that help individuals and families during periods of financial hardship. The organization also focuses on healthy food, fresh produce, nutrition education and connections to programs intended to help families work toward long-term stability.
For residents in the Katy, Fulshear and Richmond areas, the event creates a direct and accessible way to participate in that regional effort. Diners do not need to attend a separate fundraiser. They can contribute simply by choosing a participating menu for a meal they were already planning to enjoy.
A Reason to Explore the Region’s Growing Dining Scene
Katy and Fulshear have experienced substantial residential and commercial growth, and the local restaurant landscape has expanded along with them. The 2026 Restaurant Weeks list reflects that evolution, with participating locations spread across established commercial corridors and newer communities.
It also gives residents a chance to look beyond their usual dining patterns. Someone who typically stays near Cinco Ranch might plan an evening in Fulshear. A Fulshear family could try a Katy restaurant it has not previously visited. Harvest Green residents have an option within their own community at Messina Hof Winery & Kitchen.
More than 350 restaurants are expected to participate across Greater Houston, and the official list will be updated daily before the campaign begins. Additional Katy, Fulshear or Richmond-area locations may be announced.
Reservations are encouraged, particularly for Friday and Saturday dinners. Diners should confirm whether their chosen restaurant is offering brunch, lunch, dinner or multiple options and review any restrictions included with the prix fixe menu.
Houston Restaurant Weeks has always been built around a simple invitation: gather around a table and allow that meal to do a little more good. In Katy and Fulshear, it is also an opportunity to support the people and businesses helping shape one of Greater Houston’s fastest-growing areas.
