Another Round Golf Lounge Coming to Katy in December, Bringing Indoor Golf Simulators, Leagues and a Neighborhood Hangout to Kingsland Boulevard
Katy golfers will soon have a new place to practice their swing, play a round with friends or enjoy an evening out without worrying about the Texas heat or unpredictable weather. Another Round Golf Lounge, a locally conceived indoor golf and entertainment destination, is preparing to open at 25418 Kingsland Boulevard, Suite 700, in Katy near Katy Mills, with a planned opening date of December 14, 2026.
The new business will combine professional-grade golf simulator technology with a comfortable neighborhood lounge, offering an experience designed for everyone from experienced golfers working on their game to beginners who have never picked up a club.
Behind the concept are two teacher-coaches who saw an opportunity to bring something different to the Katy community. Their vision goes beyond building another indoor golf facility. They want to create a welcoming gathering place where neighbors can spend time together, local businesses can host events and golfers of all skill levels can feel at home.
What's Coming to Another Round Golf Lounge on Kingsland Boulevard?
According to a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation project filing, Another Round Golf Lounge will occupy approximately 5,040 square feet of existing commercial space at Kingsland Katy Plaza in Fort Bend County.
The filing identifies an estimated $400,000 investment for the interior renovation and tenant build-out, with construction scheduled to begin November 1, 2026, and conclude December 1, 2026. The business's website lists December 14 as its anticipated opening date.
The centerpiece of the new Katy golf lounge will be five TrackMan golf simulator bays, giving customers access to technology that tracks ball flight and provides detailed feedback on golf shots.
TrackMan systems are used by professional golfers, instructors and recreational players to analyze performance and simulate play on virtual golf courses. For Katy residents, the technology will offer an opportunity to practice and enjoy golf indoors, regardless of outdoor conditions.
Another Round Golf Lounge plans to offer individual practice sessions, virtual golf experiences, organized leagues, memberships and private event reservations.
Guests will also find an on-site bar and lounge serving beverages and snacks, allowing groups to socialize between rounds or simply spend time together without necessarily participating in golf.
Built by Two Teacher-Coaches With a Vision for Katy
The idea for Another Round Golf Lounge originated with two teacher-coaches who wanted to combine their appreciation for golf with their understanding of what makes a welcoming community gathering place.
Their goal is to create an indoor golf experience that feels polished without being intimidating, where serious golfers can focus on improving their skills while newcomers can enjoy the game at their own pace.
That approach is particularly relevant in Katy, where youth sports, school activities and recreational leagues are familiar parts of everyday life for many families.
Rather than focusing exclusively on experienced players, the founders envision a place where couples can plan a date night, friends can meet after work, coworkers can organize a team outing and families can celebrate special occasions.
The business also hopes to provide opportunities for local companies to host client gatherings, employee appreciation events and other group activities in a setting that offers something different from a traditional restaurant or meeting space.
For the founders, hospitality is intended to be just as important as the golf itself.
Indoor Golf Leagues, Private Events and Simulator Reservations
Another Round Golf Lounge is planning several ways for Katy residents to enjoy the facility, whether they want to stop by occasionally or make indoor golf part of their regular routine.
Customers will be able to reserve simulator bays in blocks ranging from one to four hours, giving individuals and groups flexibility to schedule anything from a quick practice session to an extended outing.
The lounge also plans to offer golf leagues, creating opportunities for players to compete, meet other local golfers and enjoy the sport in a social setting.
Membership options will be available for customers interested in more frequent visits, while private event bookings will accommodate celebrations, corporate gatherings and other group occasions.
According to the business's website, Another Round Golf Lounge will operate as a cashless facility, with online reservations available.
Additional information about simulator bookings, pricing and memberships can be found on the Another Round Golf Lounge website.
A New Entertainment Option for Katy Residents
As Katy continues to grow, so does the variety of places where residents can spend their free time close to home. Another Round Golf Lounge will add another option to the area's recreational and entertainment offerings, particularly for people looking for activities that do not depend on favorable weather.
Traditional golf courses remain an important part of the Katy area's recreational landscape, but indoor simulators offer a different experience. Players can practice after work, participate in virtual rounds or introduce friends to golf without committing to several hours on an outdoor course.
The concept could also appeal to residents who enjoy social activities but are not necessarily interested in playing a full round of golf. With its bar, lounge seating and group-friendly atmosphere, Another Round is positioning itself as a neighborhood destination rather than solely a practice facility.
Its Kingsland Boulevard location will place the business within reach of established Katy neighborhoods and nearby commercial areas, giving residents another option for entertainment without traveling into central Houston.
For the two teacher-coaches behind the project, the hope is that customers will come for the golf but find reasons to return for the people and atmosphere.
When Will Another Round Golf Lounge Open in Katy?
Another Round Golf Lounge is currently scheduled to open December 14, 2026, following the planned completion of its Kingsland Boulevard renovation in early December.
As with any new commercial project, construction schedules and opening dates may change.
Residents interested in booking a simulator, learning about golf league opportunities or exploring private event options can visit anotherroundgolflounge.com for additional information as the opening approaches.
For Katy residents who already enjoy golf, and those simply looking for a different way to spend an evening with friends, Another Round Golf Lounge could soon offer a new reason to gather close to home.
