Houston Area Restauranteur Opens Second Concept in Katy
A new burger joint with a charming diner vibe has opened in Katy.
TMG Burger Grill officially opened its doors on December 18, offering guests a wide selection of comfort classics in a friendly atmosphere with true Texas hospitality. Located at 6191 Highway Boulevard in Suite 101, TMG Burger Grill prides itself on offering "the best burgers in Texas", an experience soaked in years of dedication and a passion for the restaurant industry.
The man behind this mouth-watering venture, Austin Yates, is no stranger to the food scene. Having poured years into the restaurant business, his dream finally manifested into reality with the opening of Texas Mesquite Grill in Cypress in 2012. Ever since then, the focus has been on locally-sourced foods, ensuring the satisfaction of guests, and cultivating an environment where team members love their work.
Austin credits the success of his ventures to the unwavering support of his wife, Teri Bonham Yates. "I still remember the night in the hot tub 12 years ago when we were discussing me leaving a steady job to go out on my own. Taking that leap is not easy and I could not have done it without her tremendous support," he reflects. "We are a team and I could not have done this without everything she does behind the scenes… thank you, wife!"

TMG Burger Grill is open from 11AM to 8PM from Sunday through Thursday, and 11AM to 9PM on Fridays and Saturdays.
