Home Depot Celebrates Grand Opening of New Store in City of Katy

April 11 2024

Today, the newest Home Depot location in Katy officially opened their doors to the Katy community. Located within City of Katy limits on Kingsland Boulevard and Cane Island Parkway, just off the south of I-10, this brand-new store is set to elevate home improvement retail in the region.

The grand opening not only marks a milestone for Home Depot but also emphasizes the growth and potential of the City of Katy. Originally part of the City of Houston Extra-Territorial Jurisdiction (ETJ), Home Depot embarked on the deliberate path of annexation into the City of Katy. The retail giant's choice echoes its commitment to this burgeoning area, demonstrating a strong belief in the city's current status and future as a thriving commercial hub.

Situated on a spacious 23.341-acre property, this new Home Depot location will provide customers with a broad range of products and services to choose from. According to the store's website, patrons will find everything they need for their next DIY project or home renovation, from plumbing and electrical supplies to kitchen appliances and garden essentials.

Not only limited to home maintenance and improvement items, but this Home Depot branch also offers rental services for those in need of specific tools for a short period. Customers will also be able to take advantage of the store's professional installation services, ensuring projects are completed with expert precision.

The new Home Depot store in the City of Katy goes beyond just providing a shopping experience; it seeks to be a cornerstone of the community. As part of its grand opening, they will offer workshops and interactive activities tailored for homeowners, enthusiasts, and professionals alike.

As they open their doors today, the newest Home Depot store stands as a symbol of growth and innovation, ready to serve the City of Katy and its surrounding areas.
