Harris County Public Library’s Curiosity Cruiser Comes to Town
Thursday, June 1 @ 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM | Hockley Community Center
Help us kick off our summer children’s program with a visit from Harris County Public Library’s state-of-the-art bookmobile, The Curiosity Cruiser. Families are invited to story time in the community center, followed by a visit on the cruiser. Every child will receive a free book! Women’s Self-Defense Class

Deter possible threats with ready-to-use self-defense tactics, body mechanics, and strategies. Not only will you learn to defend yourself physically, but you will learn the situational awareness necessary to react to a given situation. History Discussion Group: Archaeology in Houston-Area State Parks

An Evening Under the Stars

Observe the night sky through a variety of telescopes with members of Houston Astronomical Society. Enjoy views of the moon, Mars, Venus, Jupiter, star clusters, and more!
