Harris County Precinct 4 Seeking Public Feedback for Katy East Community Plan & Mobility Study
Harris County Precinct 4 is creating a community plan and mobility study for the Katy East area! The study will identify potential projects to improve quality of life for the community, including housing, multimodal connectivity, and placemaking.
The Katy East Community Plan and Mobility Study is approximately a nine-month process that started in the Fall of 2023 to set a shared vision that strives to enhance the quality of life for all residents within the study area. Driven by robust public engagement, the plan will examine existing land use, mobility, infrastructure, and economic development challenges and opportunities in the community. The final plan will create prioritized list of projects, policies, and program recommendations to support the aspirational values of the community seeking to improve quality of life, livability, and economic opportunity.
