Harris County ESD 11 Welcomes New Medical Director
After college, she worked as a paramedic in Texas with Harris County Emergency Corps and Williamson County Emergency Medical Services before attending medical school at William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. McClure completed residency in Emergency Medicine at Lincoln Hospital in the Bronx, NY, followed by fellowship in EMS in San Antonio, TX – working with San Antonio Fire Department and Bexar County agencies in the office of the medical director associated with University of Texas Health Science Center.
Dr. McClure embraces her role as an EMS physician and is committed to building a system that identifies and bridges gaps in community health resources and provides excellent out-of-hospital health care to the whole community.
In her free time, Dr. McClure practices Jiu Jitsu and enjoys rock climbing and backpacking.
