Fulshear Residents Elevate Home Care Standards with Expertise and Community Commitment
As the proud owners of Window Genie of South Katy, Fulshear residents Buffy and Curt Weimer are setting an elevated standard in home care, combining their passion for service with a desire to make a tangible difference in the lives of their neighbors. With strong roots in construction and a commitment to excellent customer service, the Weimers are thrilled to be serving their community in a new way.
The Weimer's come from a strong agricultural background. Buffy has spent years as a Construction Management and Contract Conformance Professional in the oil and gas industry. Curt has worked in commercial construction and construction of oil and gas facilities as a quality inspector. This wealth of experience shines through in their business operations, which span across multiple home services reaching over 30 zip codes in southwest Houston.
Services offered by Window Genie S Katy include window cleaning, pressure washing, gutter cleaning, soft washing houses, and applying architectural window film. Window Genie even offers holiday lighting services during festive seasons. But beyond these services, Curt emphasizes their commitment to professional ethics and immaculate attention to detail. Window Genie S Katy prides itself on ensuring homes are tidier and brighter after they've completed a job.
"The compliments for making others' lives brighter and more pleasant on a daily basis is gratifying to say the least," said Curt.
Buffy, originally from Ohio, is the quintessence of the can-do spirit. She worked her way through college at Colorado Mesa University and later tied the knot with Colorado native Curt Weimer, who attended Texas A&M. The Weimers opened Window Genie of S Katy in July 2023, seeking an alternative income to their previous roles that often kept them away from home. After interviewing between 5-10 different franchises, they chose Window Genie by Neighborly. Attracted by its comprehensive offering and the possibility for Curt to work closer home, the deal was sealed with the promise of more quality time with their beloved grandchildren.
After nearly one year in business, they proudly celebrated a rope cutting ceremony with the Fulshear-Katy Area Chamber of Commerce. Being active members of the Fulshear-Katy Area Chamber, they hope to leverage the networking and business support roles that the Chamber offers to deepen their support for the community beyond their business.
Don McCoy, the President and CEO of the Chamber, was present at the event and voiced his support for the Weimer’s new venture. "The Weimers' dedication to their business and their community is evident in the quality and care they put into their services. They are a welcome addition to the Fulshear business community," he said.
As they continue to brighten the lives and homes of their clients daily, the Weimers look forward to building strong relationships and contributing to the vibrancy and growth of the Fulshear and Katy areas.
