Fulshear Police Department Announces radKIDS 2023 Program
This summer, the Fulshear Police Department will welcome local children to participate in their annual radKIDS Program. Since 2001 radKIDS®, a 501(c)3 organization, has become the National Leader in Children's Safety Education. Empowering children and parents with a revolutionary skill-based curriculum, that strengthens children’s personal boundaries and parental confidence. Replacing fear with knowledge, skill, and power, by enhancing a child's critical thinking abilities and physical resistance skills, our programs provide the opportunity for children to recognize, avoid, resist, and, if necessary, escape violence or harm while remaining joyful and safer in our world today.
The Fulshear Police Department's summer 2023 installment of the radKIDS Program will be available for children ages 8-12 on June 6-9, 2023 and July 11-14, 2023. Class times are 9:00 - 11:00 AM or 1:00 - 3:00 PM. Space is limited to 10 students per program session. The classes are held at the City of Fulshear Irene Stern Community Center, located at 6920 Katy Fulshear Road, Fulshear, TX 77441.
The cost for the Program is $30.00 per child. Checks should be made payable to the "Fulshear Police Foundation," (www.fulshearpolicefoundation.com), which sponsors the Fulshear Police Department's radKIDS Program. Payment is made on the first day of class. The $30.00 is a one-time fee, and children are welcome to return as often as they wish, cost-free, until their 13th birthday.
To register for one of the radKIDS Program classes, please email Lynn Raymer at lraymer@fulsheartexas.gov and indicate which session (June or July) and either the AM or PM class.
