Fulshear Fast Track: Igniting Entrepreneurial Spirit and Local Business Growth in Fulshear
As Fulshear continues to experience hypergrowth, a new has taken a significant stride towards supporting its small business community with the launch of Fulshear Fast Track. This initiative is a partnership between the Fulshear Economic Development Corporation and The Cannon, officially launched on April 2, 2024.
Fulshear Fast Track provides entrepreneurs, startups, and small businesses with the resources they need to start, scale, and succeed. The organization not only offers essential resources but also fosters a unified network of entrepreneurs, startups, investors, advisors, corporate partners, and service providers.
At the helm of this initiative is Mat Yelvington, the Managing Director of Fulshear Fast Track. With a background in helping several business get started in the Houston Area in industries such as retail, energy, and non-profit, Yelvington is leveraging his experience to support emerging entrepreneurs in the rapidly expanding Fulshear area. The Fulshear Fast Track team aims to support business startups to drive economic and community growth.
"We serve those passionately seeking and enacting opportunity, change, and innovation," Yelvington explains. "Our dedication to proactively serve and prioritize our community defines the real value of Fulshear Fast Track and sets an example of how any company should approach service to their customers."

Yelvington's enthusiasm for this initiative is evident in his response, "I love helping people start things, making their ideas and dreams come to fruition."
To support this initiative, Fulshear Fast Track joined the Fulshear-Katy Area Chamber. "We believe every small business that wants to be relevant in the community should be a part of the chamber," says Yelvington. "We aim to work closely with the chamber to help all businesses in the Fulshear area be the best they can be."
The Fulshear-Katy Area Chamber, equally supportive of this new initiative, held a rope-cutting event on April 2nd in honor of Fulshear Fast Track's opening. Don McCoy, president and CEO of the Fulshear-Katy Area Chamber, voiced his support, saying, "We believe strongly in the Fulshear Fast Track's mission. This initiative will have a transformative impact on our small business community, and we are thrilled to support it."
As Fulshear Fast Track continues to evolve and grow, Yelvington, the Fulshear Economic Development Corporation, and The Cannon remain dedicated to their mission of providing a supportive and dynamic environment for Fulshear's small business community.
