Fort Bend County Records Express Brings Birth Certificates and Clerk Services to Fulshear July 18
For Fort Bend County residents who need a birth certificate, property record or marriage license but would prefer to handle the task closer to home, the Fort Bend County Clerk’s Office is bringing several commonly requested services directly to the community.
The Records Express in Fulshear event will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 18, 2026, at the Fort Bend County Libraries Fulshear Branch Library, located at 6350 GM Library Road, Fulshear, TX 77441.
The mobile event is designed to make official county records and document services more accessible for local families, homeowners and business owners. Instead of making a separate trip to another county office, qualifying residents can complete certain transactions during a convenient Saturday visit to the library.
Birth Certificates Available for Qualified Applicants
A central focus of the Fulshear Records Express event will be birth certificate services.
Qualified applicants may purchase:
- Detailed birth certificates for children born in Fort Bend County
- Short-form birth certificates for children born elsewhere in Texas but outside Fort Bend County
Birth certificates will cost $23 each. Applicants should be prepared to meet the county’s eligibility and identification requirements before a certificate can be issued.
For parents registering children for school, families applying for passports or residents completing other official paperwork, having birth certificate services available in Fulshear may help simplify an important item on the household to-do list.
Property Records, DBAs and Marriage Licenses
The Fort Bend County Clerk’s Office will also offer several additional services during the July 18 event.
Available services are expected to include the recording and copying of property records, as well as the recording of assumed-name certificates, commonly known as DBAs. Staff will also be able to assist with military discharge documents and other recordable documents.
Marriage license issuance will also be available, giving eligible couples an opportunity to complete the county portion of the marriage license process without traveling farther from the Fulshear area.
These services may be particularly useful for homeowners researching deeds, entrepreneurs establishing a business name, veterans handling official records and couples preparing for an upcoming wedding.
What Fulshear Residents Should Know Before Attending
Because some county records can only be released to qualified applicants, residents should review the Fort Bend County Clerk’s Office requirements before arriving. Bringing the correct identification and any supporting documentation may help avoid delays.
The event will take place inside the Fulshear Branch Library during the announced four-hour window:
