FBCSO to Host First Annual Spring Summit
The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office, in collaboration with the Juvenile Justice Advisory Council (JJAC) is hosting a Spring Summit: Building Trust Between the Community and Law Enforcement.
The event will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Gus George Law Enforcement Academy located at 1521 Eugene Heimann Circle, Richmond, Texas, 77469.
Sheriff’s deputies as well as local Fort Bend County leaders will be leading the summit with various interactive workshops including the dangers of drugs, the dos and don'ts on traffic stops, drinking and driving consequences, and tips for parents on how to decrease challenging behaviors at home.
“JJAC came to life as an idea to enhance community safety and interactions between our youth and local law enforcement,” said Sheriff Eric Fagan. “It’s important to continue building trust with our neighbors, especially in the leaders of tomorrow.”
