Explore the Wonders of Engineering at Fort Bend Children's Discovery Center

February 06 2024

Ready for a week of mind-blowing creativity and excitement for your kids? The Fort Bend Children's Discovery Center is launching the National Engineers Wonderweek, a thrilling journey into the wonders of engineering from February 20 to 24, 2024.

Imagine a world where your children can step into the shoes of unsung heroes, engineers, who design everything from roads to toys. This interactive and highly educational week-long event allows your little ones to tap into their creative potential and see how they, too can shape an extraordinary future.

There are a variety of activities planned to keep the young minds engrossed throughout the day. Open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., kids will have the opportunity to dive into an exhilarating adventure and design an artistic roller coaster or explore the realm of balance and gravity by crafting a robot that defies gravity with style. Watch as your child's eyes light up seeing the potential energy of a marble transforming into kinetic energy, propelling it down a track. And no child can resist the joy of creating their own playdough!

Held at the Fort Bend Children's Discovery Center, located at 198 Kempner Street in Sugar Land, this inspiring event is going to be a captivating insight into the engineering marvels that shape our daily lives.
