Edible® and Tajín® Launch Limited-Edition 'Swicy' Treats in Cypress and Cy-Fair
A flavor trend that started as an April Fools’ joke is now spicing up the real world. Edible® and Tajín® have officially teamed up to release a limited-edition “swicy” menu—blending sweet and spicy flavors—and it’s now available at Cypress and Cy-Fair Edible stores through August 31, 2025.
Local residents can enjoy the bold new lineup at the Edible store at 15055 Fairfield Meadows Dr, Suite 150 in Cypress, and at the Cy-Fair location at 12020 FM 1960 Rd W in Houston. These stores are part of Edible’s nationwide network of locally owned shops, offering handcrafted treats made with fresh fruit, chocolate, and innovative flavor combinations.
The new Edible x Tajín collection takes traditional favorites and gives them a spicy twist—think chocolate-dipped strawberries and pineapples with a zesty Tajín kick, fruit platters with mini Tajín bottles, refreshing swicy smoothies, and indulgent dessert bites that mix creamy chocolate with chili-lime flavor.

The "swicy" flavor trend has been growing rapidly in the culinary world. A Datassential 2025 food trend reportrevealed that nearly 10% of restaurant menus already feature sweet-and-spicy flavor combos, with projected growth of 9.6% over the next four years.
