Eagle Landing Park Kick-Off Set for Nov. 15: Fulshear Celebrates Grand Opening of New Community Park
Fulshear is officially ready to kick things off—literally. On Thursday, November 15 at 11 a.m., residents are invited to the Eagle Landing Park Kick-Off Celebration, marking the grand opening of the city’s newest recreational destination at 4131 Woods Road.
This milestone moment for the Fulshear community brings to life months of planning, development, and anticipation. The celebration will include remarks from city leaders, developers D.R. Horton, and community partners HTX, followed by a ceremonial “first kick” to inaugurate the park’s impressive array of soccer fields and facilities.
“This park is a game-changer for our city,” said a city spokesperson. “We’ve built Eagle Landing Park not just as a place to play—but as a space where families, athletes, and neighbors can truly come together.”
A Vision Realized
The kick-off marks the culmination of a project that began with a groundbreaking ceremony back in March 2024. With an estimated $4.69 million investment—according to official permit filings—the park was developed to meet the fast-growing recreational needs of Fulshear’s families and sports leagues.
Thanks to a swift construction timeline that began in May, Eagle Landing Park is now fully realized—just in time for fall festivities.

What to Expect at the Park
The final layout of Eagle Landing Park offers something for everyone. Highlights include:
- Three full-size soccer fields and multiple youth-sized fields for local teams and casual play
- A centrally located playground and shaded picnic area perfect for families
- A 2,000-square-foot concession facility, complete with restrooms, food stand, and equipment storage
- Two large parking lots with a combined 310 total spaces
- Open green space, walking areas, and a beautifully landscaped setting
The park’s site plan, recently released by the City of Fulshear, shows an intuitive layout that separates play zones, gathering areas, and fields—creating a safe, accessible, and welcoming environment for all visitors. The northern section of the park along Tamarron Park Drive includes a 180-space parking lot and easy access to fields and amenities, while the southern entrance off Woods/ Jordan Road provides an additional 130-space lot near more competitive fields and the water plant site.
From shaded rest stops to a layout designed to accommodate large events and weekend games, Eagle Landing is built for function and enjoyment.
Community Spirit Front and Center
Beyond the amenities, Eagle Landing Park symbolizes Fulshear’s ongoing commitment to family-focused development and quality-of-life enhancements.
Whether you’re a soccer parent, a weekend walker, or someone just looking for a new outdoor space to enjoy, the city invites everyone to be part of the celebration.
