Eagle Landing Park in Fulshear Breaks Ground
On March 26, the City of Fulshear celebrated the groundbreaking of Eagle Landing Park, a new recreational complex set to be located at 4131 Woods Road. This event marks an exciting new chapter in the city’s recreational and community offerings, promising a space designed for diverse activities and enjoyment.
Eagle Landing Park, a project with an estimated cost of $4,692,885 according to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR), is set to bring a plethora of amenities to locals and visitors alike. These amenities will include full-size and youth soccer fields, an array of playground equipment, restroom and concession facilities, a covered patio area outfitted with tables, and a spacious parking lot with the capacity to hold 310 vehicles.
The TDLR has projected the construction phase of the park to commence on May 1, 2024, and aims to complete the project in November of the same year. Once completed, the park is expected to significantly enhance the city's sports and recreational landscape.
At the heart of this development is a 2,000 square foot park concession facility, which will also house the main restrooms, storage area, and a concession stand. The design incorporates natural ventilation for the restrooms in order to accommodate more than 20 different sports field activities. Visitors can look forward to a convenient "grab-and-go" food and drink concession service, as well as the potential for outdoor third-party vendors to serve a variety of items directly to patrons.
With the groundbreaking of Eagle Landing Park, the City of Fulshear is ushering in a new era of community engagement and recreational opportunities.
