Discover Latest Trends in Home Improvement at 18th Annual Katy Home & Garden Show and Barndo Expo
The 18th Annual Katy Home & Garden Show and Barndo Expo is making a grand return on March 23 and 24, promising a unique blend of home improvement inspiration, gardening ideas, and a peek into the future of living spaces. This year, the show takes place at the Katy ISD Ag Center, bringing together hundreds of vendors, exhibitors, and experts in one place to help residents of Katy revamp their homes and gardens.
If you are in the market for new flooring or windows or perhaps considering remodeling your kitchen or bathroom, the show offers the perfect opportunity to compare options and shop for everything under one roof. Beyond shopping, attendees can immerse themselves in live demonstrations, workshops, and seminars covering diverse topics, from gut health to interior design.
One particularly exciting feature is the Barndominium Expo, sponsored by Toyota of Katy, where leading expert Stacee Lynn will be discussing the latest design ideas for steel and post-frame Barndos. Also, don't miss the Artisan Alley, displaying handmade art pieces from local artists, or the Pet Central, where you'll discover new products and services for your four-legged family members.
"Shopping local is a key to keeping a community thriving,” explains Robyn Cade, President of RJC Productions, producers of the Katy Home & Garden Show and Barndominium Expo. "We have been supporting area businesses for 18 years. If you are redoing your kitchen, bath or tackling any other home project you will be able to talk to multiple experts at one time. In this busy world that is an actual cost savings," Cade added.
Planning an outdoor overhaul? Talk to experts about creating your dream outdoor living space, complete with pergolas, outdoor kitchens, fireplaces, and unique furniture. Plus, stock up on Texas-native plants at the sell-out Brookwood Community's plant sale. Attend idea-inspiring seminars for the home both days on the Ikea Fresh Ideas Stage. Check the website for a complete listing of speakers.
The show also features award-winning educator Stephen Ritz, discussing his innovative indoor vegetable-growing program, and Andrea Bohn leading a hands-on Sourdough and Gut Health Workshop.
The Youth Entrepreneur Market, sponsored by My Neighborhood News, is also returning for a second year, providing a platform for young business leaders aged 6-17 to showcase their budding businesses. All these and more make the Katy Home & Garden Show and the Barndominium Expo an event you shouldn't miss, whether you're a home improvement enthusiast or looking for weekend family fun.
Don't forget, the first 100 attendees each day will receive a FREE $5 Starbucks gift card courtesy of Vitewall. Tickets are available at the door for $9. Children twelve and under are free and parking is free. Show hours are Saturday, March 23 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Sunday, March 24 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
