Cy-Falls HS Student Named CFISD Student of the Week
Cypress Falls High School senior Archita Singh is applauded for being involved on campus.
School: Cypress Falls High School | Age: 17 | Grade: 12
Accomplishments: Singh is president of the Cypress Falls Computer Science Club and is vice president of the Cypress Falls DECA chapter. She is also a member of Key Club and Math Honors Society. Singh is a National Merit Semifinalist and has taken several university level math courses, such as Calculus III, Discrete Mathematics and Linear Algebra.
Favorite class: “Computer Science, because I love how creative the class is and how concepts from the class apply to all fields. I also appreciate how supportive my teacher, Mr. Moma, is.”
Favorite things to do after class: “Playing with my dog, Milo, reading a good book or baking.”
Favorite song: “Payphone by Maroon 5. It brings back so many memories.”
Favorite website/app: “Spotify, because I love to listen to music while doing anything.”
Favorite TV show: “Community, because it has such great rewatch value and I love the characters.”
Favorite movie: “Tumbbad, because I love its historical setting and amazing cinematography.”
Ambition: “I want to be a software engineer and help develop the technology we use in our everyday lives.”
What topics/things are you passionate about?: “Community service, computer science and math.”
What inspires you?: “My family. They are so kind and supportive.”
What three things can’t you live without?: “My family, my dog and my computer.”
