Cy-Falls HS Senior Selected as CFISD Student of the Week
Cypress Falls High School senior Josathea Josue is praised by her teachers for being involved on campus.
School: Cypress Falls High School | Age: 18 | Grade: 12
Accomplishments: Josue is an honor roll student that is involved in multiple organizations on campus, including varsity basketball and the Student Athlete Leadership Team. She is also a member of the Cypress Falls MOB, a National Honor Society member, Key Club member and is the president of the Student Mental Health Alliance.
Favorite class: “My favorite class is Sculpture because it allows me to express the way I think creatively with others and is a way for me to focus on something fun during school.”
Favorite things to do after class: “I always look forward to ending the school day with my teammates during my athletic period and spending time with family once I get home.”
Favorite song: “Love Is A Wild Thing by Kacey Musgraves.”
Favorite website/app: “Spotify, because I love listening to music.”
Favorite TV show: “Friends, because it’s very entertaining and it reminds me of all the times my older sister and I would spend together before she moved out.”
Favorite movie: “My favorite movie is The Lego Movie because when it first came out, my dad took me to see it as a surprise and bought me a Lego-themed snack box.”
Ambition: “I want to spend the rest of my life dedicated to helping others in some way, whether it be through reaching my goal of becoming a nurse or something else.”
What topics/things are you passionate about?: “I’m very passionate about mental health, being the best version of myself that I can be and my family and friends.”
What inspires you?: “My parents, my future and the adversities I have or will overcome.”
What three things can’t you live without?: “I can’t live without my faith, my family (including my pets) and Aquaphor.”
