Cy-Falls Cheer Mini Clinic Returns May 10 for Young Cheerleaders of All Ages

April 16 2025

The spirit is high and the pom-poms are ready as the Cy-Falls Cheer Mini Clinic makes its much-anticipated return on Saturday, May 10, 2025. Designed for aspiring cheerleaders of all ages and skill levels, the event will be held at the Cy-Falls High School Gym, located at 9811 Huffmeister Rd, Houston, TX 77095.

Open to students from Pre-K through 12th grade (participants must be potty trained), the clinic runs from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM and offers a fun, high-energy environment where participants will learn cheers, chants, and basic cheerleading techniques alongside members of the Cy-Falls Cheer team—including a special appearance and coaching support from Practice Coach Aaron Saldivar.

A Tradition of Spirit and Excellence

The Cy-Falls Cheerleaders are known throughout Cypress-Fairbanks ISD for their school spirit, athleticism, and community involvement. In January 2024, the team earned a historic milestone by winning their first-ever national championship at the NCA High School Nationals in Dallas, scoring an impressive 95.9542 points in the Novice Varsity Crowd Leading-Small division and taking home an additional award for Best Use of Stunts.

Beyond the competition floor, the team continues to make an impact through service, raising $885 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month in September. Their participation in school events, athletic games, and philanthropic efforts has made them a recognizable symbol of Eagle pride.

The annual mini clinic serves as a chance for the team to connect with younger students and share the values of teamwork, confidence, service, and commitment that are at the heart of their program.

“We are so excited to bring back the Cy-Falls Cheer Mini Clinic—it’s going to be better than ever!” said Saldivar, who is thrilled to welcome participants from across the community.
