Cy-Fair Women’s Club Opens 2026 Scholarship Applications for Local Students

October 28 2025

The Cy-Fair Women’s Club (CWC), a non-profit service organization that has been an anchor in the Cy-Fair community since 1982, has officially opened its scholarship application process for 2026. This annual opportunity is available to all high school seniors—both male and female—who reside within the boundaries of Cypress-Fairbanks ISD (CFISD).

The scholarship program, now a beloved tradition in the area, supports graduating seniors in their pursuit of higher education. A key emphasis of the program is placed on community service, reflecting the club’s own mission of serving others. Academic performance and involvement in extracurricular activities are also part of the selection criteria.

Each awarded scholarship is valued at $2,000 and can be used toward full-time attendance at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or technical school. Eligible applicants include students attending any CFISD high school, private school, or home school located within CFISD boundaries.

Applications are due by Monday, February 2, 2026, and can be found on the club’s website at cyfairwomensclub.org. Applicants can go directly to the scholarship page found here, or sign up for a deadline reminder.

The scholarship program is made possible through funds raised during CWC’s biggest annual event, the Shop 'til You Drop Marketplace, held each September at the Berry Center. Proceeds from this community event—along with generous sponsorships—allow the club to continue supporting local students in meaningful ways. In 2025, the event drew more than 5,500 attendees, all helping to contribute to the club’s ongoing commitment to education and service.

Over the years, the Cy-Fair Women’s Club has awarded hundreds of scholarships to students who not only excel in the classroom, but also demonstrate a sincere dedication to giving back. Last year, the CWC awarded 19 scholarships to an exceptional group of seniors from schools including Bridgeland High School, Cy-Woods High School, Jersey Village, and Cy-Fair High School. These students planned to pursue diverse careers ranging from pediatric nursing to aerospace engineering.

Since its founding, the Cy-Fair Women’s Club has awarded over $200,000 in scholarships to more than 200 students—helping to shape the future of the Cy-Fair community, one student at a time. Applications are now open, and this year’s recipients will be announced in spring 2026.
