City of Fulshear's Summer Internship Program: Empowering Future Public Servants

February 27 2024

The City of Fulshear is inviting undergraduate and graduate students to participate in its enriching Summer Internship Program. This 10-week full-time opportunity merges hands-on work experience with a first-hand glimpse into local government operations. The program aims to provide interns not just with a job, but a stepping stone towards a promising career in public service.

Interns can work 20-40 hours weekly, earning $15 per hour while gaining invaluable professional experience. The program will run from early June to early August 2024 during standard business hours, with potential additional hours for evening events.

Interning with the City of Fulshear involves more than just administrative tasks. Each intern will take on significant projects that contribute meaningfully to the city and its community. It offers a great platform to apply academic knowledge to real-world scenarios, grasp the complexities of municipal government, and acquire crucial experience in public policy.

Furthermore, the internship provides opportunities for professional growth and networking. Interns will interact with experienced professionals, participate in meaningful discussions, and establish connections that could shape future careers.
