CFISD Student of the Week: Zayn Zahiruddin
Rennell Elementary School third grade student Zayn Zahiruddin is applauded by his teachers for being a good student in and out of the classroom.

Accomplishments: Zahiruddin was the runner-up in the Rennell Spelling Bee, earned a first-place finish in a chess tournament he participated in and also earned an additional first place finish in a math race.
Favorite class: “Science, because I like learning about space and the unknown.”
Favorite things to do after class: “Read books and ride my bike.”
Favorite song: “Butter by BTS.”
Favorite website/app: “Cool Math Games, because there are lots of different games to choose from.”
Favorite TV show: “Star Wars: The Bad Batch, because there are lots of cool characters with awesome abilities.”
Favorite movie: “Ant-Man and the Wasp, because the movie is about going to different universes.”
Ambition: “To go into the medical field, because I want to help people.”
What topics/things are you passionate about?: “Science, math and reading.”
What inspires you?: “My parents and brother. Sometimes my grade in school, too.”
What three things can’t you live without?: “My parents, siblings and books.”
What are you most looking forward to this semester?: “Making new friends and learning about new things.”
