CFISD Student of the Week
Cy-Fair High School senior Kristina Delgado is very involved with Texas Association of Future Educators (TAFE) on her campus, serving in leadership positions, and attended the National Educators Rising Conference this summer in Washington, D.C.

Accomplishments: Delgado is regarded as a role model for her fellow classmates in TAFE and the Ready, Set, Teach! Program. She’s earned a top-five finish at TAFE Teach Tomorrow Summit and attended the National Educators Rising Conference this summer.
Favorite class: “Teacher Prep, because I’ll be attending Sam Houston State University next year to earn my degree in education.”
Favorite things to do after class: “I like photography and TAFE events.”
Favorite song: “Any song by Shawn Mendes.”
Favorite website/app: “My favorite app is TikTok for vlogging.”
Favorite TV show: “Big Time Rush because I love the music.”
Favorite movie: “The Big Time Rush movie. Again, I love the music.”
Ambition: “I want to become an educator because being an educator means you can help shape the future.”
What topics/things are you passionate about?: “Photography and education. It’s important to be able to express yourself and also understand the world around you.”
What three things can’t you live without?: “My sister, Madelynne; my dog, Winnie; and my camera.”
What are you most looking forward to this semester?: “My internship at the schools, our TAFE club activities, homecoming, football games and any other Bobcat activities.”
