CFISD Names Aragon Middle School Eighth Grader as Student of the Week
Aragon Middle School eighth grade student Autumn Gustafson is praised by her teachers for being a positive and hard-working student.
School: Aragon Middle School | Age: 13 | Grade: 8
Accomplishments: Autumn earned a spot on the A/B honor roll for the first grading period of the 2024-25 school year. She is proud of this achievement and looks forward to continued academic success. She is the first chair of the trumpet section in symphonic band. She is also well-known to all of her teachers as cheerful, dedicated and hard-working.
Favorite class: Autumn’s favorite class is science because she likes to investigate life, perform lab experiments, and plans to follow a STEM pathway in high school and college.
Favorite things to do after class: After school, Autumn can be found learning one of several languages (Spanish, Chinese, Japanese and French) because she wants to travel the world. She also is involved in swim practice in which she competes. Her favorite event is the freestyle. In addition to practicing the trumpet for Symphonic Band, she also practices piano and the ukelele.

Favorite Website/App: “Windy.com because I like to predict the weather.”
Favorite TV show: “I have several favorite TV shows, all in the anime genre. One of my favorites is Sailor Moon.”
Favorite movie: “Inside Out 2 because it shows emotions for 13-year-olds.”
Ambition: “My ambitions are to stay healthy, eat healthy food, exercise and continually learn new things.”
What topics/things are you passionate about?: “I am passionate about studying the weather and climate.”
What inspires you?: “I am inspired by art, TV meteorologists, funny memes and educational YouTube channels.”
What three things can’t you live without?: “New furniture, money and technology.”
