CFISD Brings Mobile Library to Local Neighborhoods This Summer
Although school is not in session, kids across Cypress-Fairbanks ISD can go on a literary adventure with the CFISD Summer Mobile Library.
Throughout June and July, this dynamic program stops by select schools across the district to encourage literacy. Within a special bus that has been transformed into a library on wheels, students are provided an opportunity to check out library books, acquire free books for their own collections, receive a snack, and occasionally listen to books read aloud. At each pre-selected Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School district site, the bus arrives loaded with books and a trained staff to interface with the community.
On select dates, the bus makes two stops and stays onsite for two hours. The first stop starts at 3:00 PM and the second stop begins at 6:00 PM. See the schedule below for planned stops.
