Bridgeland Residents Encouraged to Support Inframark’s 2026 Kids’ Meals Juice Box Challenge

West Houston / Cypress  /  West Houston / Cypress
May 06 2026

With summer just around the corner, residents in Bridgeland have an opportunity to support local children through Inframark’s 2026 Kids’ Meals Juice Box Challenge, a community-driven initiative focused on helping fight childhood hunger during the summer months.

The annual campaign, which runs through June 30, encourages residents, neighborhoods, businesses, and local organizations to donate 100% juice boxes that will help complete meal deliveries for children served by Kids’ Meals, Inc..

For children living in food-insecure households, summer can create an especially difficult gap in access to reliable meals once school cafeterias close for the season. Through the Juice Box Challenge, communities across Greater Houston are helping ensure children continue receiving healthy lunches throughout the summer.

Helping Meet a Growing Summer Need

Each weekday, Kids’ Meals, Inc. prepares and delivers thousands of meals directly to the homes of preschool-aged children who are not yet eligible for school-based meal programs. During the summer months, the organization also serves school-aged siblings who are home for break, resulting in more than 1 million meals distributed throughout the summer season.

Every meal includes a sandwich, snack, and a 100% juice beverage, making juice box donations an important part of the nonprofit’s daily operations.

This year, Inframark has set a goal of collecting 70,000 juice boxes through the 2026 challenge.

For residents in Bridgeland, participating offers a simple but meaningful way to support children and families across the Houston region during one of the most critical times of the year.

Ways Residents Can Contribute

Residents interested in participating in the Juice Box Challenge have several ways to get involved throughout the campaign.

Organize a Neighborhood Collection Effort

Residents, HOA leaders, neighborhood groups, and community volunteers may consider organizing local collection efforts within Bridgeland by setting up clubhouse drop-off areas, coordinating group pickup efforts among neighbors, or arranging volunteer delivery coordination to help make participation more convenient for residents.

Drop Off Donations at an Inframark Office

Residents may also deliver donations directly to one of Inframark’s designated drop-off locations:

Only 100% juice boxes are accepted in order to meet Kids’ Meals nutritional standards.

Donate Online

Residents who prefer to contribute financially instead of purchasing juice boxes in person may donate online through the official campaign page at justgiving.com/campaign/inframark-juicebox

Purchase Juice Boxes Locally

Bulk juice box packages are often available at retailers throughout Greater Houston, including:

  • Costco Wholesale
  • Sam's Club
  • Walmart
  • Target
  • HEB
  • Kroger

Warehouse retailers such as Costco and Sam’s Club may offer convenient multi-pack options for families, neighborhood groups, scout troops, and community organizations participating in the challenge.

Supporting a Mission Beyond the Neighborhood

Since its founding in 2006, Kids’ Meals, Inc. has expanded from serving two Houston zip codes with two delivery vans to reaching dozens of communities across Greater Houston. Today, the nonprofit relies on thousands of volunteers, donors, and community partnerships to help meet growing demand for meal assistance.

For many neighborhoods, participation in the Juice Box Challenge has become a meaningful way to support children beyond their own community boundaries while reinforcing the importance of local involvement and collective giving.

As the June 30 deadline approaches, residents in Bridgeland still have time to participate and help contribute toward this year’s regional goal.
