Zumba Comes to Towne Lake: Join the Fun Starting May 5 at the Movement Studio

May 01 2025

Towne Lake residents looking to add fun and fitness to their weekly routine are in for a treat—Zumba classes are coming to the Movement Studio beginning Monday, May 5, 2025. This exciting addition to the neighborhood's wellness offerings brings an energizing blend of music, dance, and cardio exercise right to the heart of the community.

Classes will be held every Monday at 6:30 PM and Thursday at 9:30 AM, giving participants two opportunities each week to dance, sweat, and feel amazing—no dance experience required!

What Is Zumba?

Zumba is a globally popular fitness program that blends Latin-inspired dance moves with interval-style cardio training. Created in the 1990s by Colombian dancer and choreographer Alberto "Beto" Pérez, Zumba became an international sensation thanks to its infectious rhythms, high-energy atmosphere, and ability to make exercise feel like a party.

From salsa and merengue to reggaeton and cumbia, the choreography is simple, fun, and adaptable to all fitness levels. Whether you're a seasoned dancer or a total beginner, Zumba offers a full-body workout that burns calories, boosts heart health, and improves coordination—all while having fun.
