WoodCreek Reserve Gears Up for Katy Fire Department’s Santa Visit on December 8
Ho ho ho! On Sunday, December 8, Santa Claus will be rolling through WoodCreek Reserve as part of the 2025 Katy Fire Department Santa Tours, and families are already gearing up for the fun.
WoodCreek Reserve is sure to light up with excitement as Santa makes his way down neighborhood streets—escorted by a fire engine and the friendly faces of Katy firefighters.
The tour officially leaves from Station 1 on Avenue D at 6:00 PM, so residents should be prepared early. The exact timing for each stop can vary, but thanks to the KFD Sleigh Tracker, families can click HERE or visit the City of Katy Fire Department’s Facebook page to track Santa’s real-time location.

Adding to the festive spirit is the opportunity to give back. As always, the vehicle following Santa will be accepting donations of new toys and non-perishable food items, all of which will benefit local Katy-area charities, food pantries, schools, and churches. WoodCreek Reserve has a proud tradition of community support, and this night is a great way to give while celebrating.
Don’t forget to follow the KFD Facebook page for the full route through WoodCreek Reserve and for any weather updates. If there’s rain in the forecast, the department will post changes by 4:00 PM the same day.
So grab your flashlights and holiday spirit, and join your neighbors for a heartwarming night of Santa, sirens, and smiles in WoodCreek Reserve—a holiday tradition that keeps getting better every year.
