Williamsburg Settlement Clubhouse to Receive Fresh Interior Paint in July

Williamsburg Settlement Clubhouse to Receive Fresh Interior Paint in July

July 07 2026

The Williamsburg Settlement Clubhouse is getting a fresh interior update this summer.

The Williamsburg Settlement HOA has awarded a contract to Spears Renovations to paint the walls and trim of the clubhouse big room and adjoining areas. The work is scheduled for the week beginning July 13.

Located at 1602 Hoyt Lane in Katy, the clubhouse is one of the neighborhood’s most useful shared spaces. For many Williamsburg Settlement residents, it serves as a convenient place for meetings, small celebrations, nonprofit activities and community gatherings close to home.

About the Williamsburg Settlement Clubhouse

The Williamsburg Settlement Clubhouse is available for rental to Settlement residents in good standing with the Association, as well as to non-residents under the community’s rental fee schedule.

The Big Room can accommodate up to 100 people and includes access to available furniture, including folding chairs and tables. The clubhouse area is also near other neighborhood amenities, including the swimming pool, tennis courts and playground area.

Parking is available in the clubhouse lot, which accommodates 24 vehicles, including two spaces reserved for handicapped drivers. Residents and guests are reminded to follow posted no-parking signs along Hoyt Lane.

Rental Fees for Residents

For Williamsburg Settlement residents, the Big Room rental fee is $75 for up to 49 people, plus a refundable $200 security deposit.

For events with 50 to 100 people, the Big Room rental fee is $100, plus a refundable $400 security deposit.

The Small Room is available for gatherings of up to 20 people for $30, plus a refundable $50 security deposit. The Small Room is 16 feet by 15 feet and does not include access to the kitchen.

Deposits are refundable after the exit inspection is passed.

Security and Chaperone Requirements

When alcohol is served, note that security guards must be on duty. One guard is required for parties with up to 49 attendees, while two guards are required for parties with 50 or more attendees.

HCSO deputies may be booked by emailing Deputy Theo at Sahi.Diomande@sheriff.hctx.net at least two weeks before the event. As of December 2025, the renter must pay security guards directly at a rate of $50 per hour per guard, with a two-hour minimum and four-hour maximum.

If an event includes more than 20 young people between the ages of 13 and 21 who are not accompanied by family members, the Association requires one responsible adult chaperone for every 10 young people.

How to Reserve the Clubhouse

Residents interested in renting the clubhouse should first check the Clubhouse/Pool Bookings page on the Williamsburg Settlement website to see if the desired date is available. They should then review the Clubhouse page for pricing, policies and other important rental details before submitting the online Clubhouse Booking Form.

Once the request is processed, the renter will receive a Provisional Clubhouse Booking Confirmation by email with the rental details, fees, deposit amount and any security requirements.

Residents should note that, as of January 2026, pool party bookings are handled separately through the pool management company and are not included in the clubhouse booking process.

For additional information, residents may call Dave Ellis at 281-347-2580

Keeping Williamsburg Settlement Amenities Welcoming

The upcoming painting project is a simple but meaningful improvement for one of Williamsburg Settlement’s most frequently used community spaces. Fresh paint helps keep the clubhouse welcoming for residents, guests and neighborhood groups who rely on it throughout the year.
