One of the most unique yards in the Settlement belongs to Tim Turner and Nicole who have lived in the Settlement for 6 years. Their home, located on the western most side of the Settlement at the corner of Bucktrout and Spatswood Lanes, has an unimaginable 8 mature oak trees that line the border of the yard.

Tim and Nicole were attracted to the Williamsburg Settlement because of the well-kept homes, mature trees and the nice people who live in the neighborhood. Tim exclaimed that he “love(s) it more now that I live here, we consider it a hidden gem!”

Aside from the oak trees, there are several large Crepe myrtles, rose bushes, Ligustrum, Wintergreen boxwood shrubs as well as their recommended plant, Bottlebrush, that line the perimeter of their home. Even with the number of shrubs and trees, the lot also has Saint Augustine grass, which is maintained by Alex Lawn Service.

According to Tim, he highly recommends having Bottlebrush as a part of the yard since “They are green all year and bloom twice a year.”

Congratulations again to Tim and Nicole, and we look forward to seeing Tim walking around the community with his dog Ollie in 2026 after his retirement!
