Williamsburg Settlement Announces 2025 Christmas Holiday Yard Contest Winners
The holiday season in Williamsburg Settlement glowed even brighter this year as neighbors once again turned their yards into magical displays of lights, color, and festive creativity for the 2025 Christmas Holiday Yard Contest. This cherished annual event celebrates community spirit, neighborly pride, and the joy of holiday decorations across one of Katy’s most beloved neighborhoods.
While the contest is as much about spreading joy as it is about competition, three standout displays earned top honors this year:
🔹 1st Place: 1507 Carters Grove — The Anders Family
🔹 2nd Place: 1538 Abby Aldrich Lane — The Camacho Family
🔹 3rd Place: 22302 Vobe Court — The Laxton Family
Each of these homes captured the holiday spirit with dazzling lights, imaginative décor, and seasonal charm. From elaborate light displays to heartwarming touches that delighted onlookers, these families helped make the holiday tour through Williamsburg Settlement feel like a festive community tradition.

While the winners received special recognition, the Christmas displays throughout the neighborhood offered something for everyone. Whether large or small, every decorated yard contributed to a joyful atmosphere that residents and visitors alike enjoyed while driving or walking through the streets during the holiday season.
In its traditional closing remarks, the Williamsburg Settlement Event Committee and Board expressed appreciation for all participants: that every decorated home added warmth and spirit to the community’s festive landscape, making it “a great way to wrap up the year” and inspiring neighbors to look forward to next year’s contest.
For many families in Williamsburg Settlement, driving past holiday lights has become a beloved tradition — one that brings together neighbors of all ages to celebrate creativity and community during the most wonderful time of the year.
