Williamsburg Colony Spring 2026 Garage Sale Set for April 11

Williamsburg Colony Spring 2026 Garage Sale Set for April 11

February 04 2026

The Williamsburg Colony Spring Community Garage Sale is set for Saturday, April 11, 2026 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and while it may seem far off, the real success of a garage sale starts weeks in advance. Participating residents can get a head start now by tackling the prep work in small, manageable steps.

Begin by going room to room and pulling items you no longer use, need, or love. Closets, attics, toy bins, kitchen drawers, and garages are gold mines for potential sale items. Set aside a dedicated area in your home—perhaps a spare room or corner of the garage—where you can start collecting sale items. This will keep things organized and give you a visual sense of what you're working with.

As you sort, make a donation pile for anything that’s not garage sale material (broken, outdated, or too worn). This not only helps you declutter, but also gives back to local charities (check out this list of local donation centers in the Katy area). Remember, ideal garage sale items are things like gently used clothing, children’s items, household goods, tools, small furniture, books, and home décor. Items like opened cosmetics, expired products, or heavily damaged goods are better left out.

Once you’ve identified your sale items, take time in the coming weeks to clean, wipe down, or wash what you plan to sell. Freshly laundered clothes, dust-free electronics, and organized collections (like toys or DVDs) are far more appealing to buyers—and you’ll thank yourself later when you’re not scrambling the night before.

As April 11 approaches, we’ll share more garage sale tips including pricing strategies, signage ideas, and how to attract foot traffic. For now, focus on the prep. A little effort now can turn your spring cleaning into cash—and make Williamsburg Colony’s community-wide sale a big success.
