Williamsburg Colony Residents Invited to Annual Meeting on October 8: Here’s Why Your Voice Matters

September 24 2025

Homeowners in Williamsburg Colony are invited to attend the 2025 Annual Meeting of the Williamsburg Colony Maintenance Association on Tuesday, October 8, 2025, at the clubhouse located at 2315 John Crump Lane, Katy, TX 77449. Sign-in begins at 7:00 p.m., and the official meeting starts promptly at 8:00 p.m..

This annual gathering is a cornerstone of neighborhood engagement, offering residents the opportunity to stay informed, get involved, and influence the direction of their community. One of the primary agenda items this year is the election of two directors to serve on the HOA Board of Directors for three-year terms.

Why Should You Attend?

Beyond just casting a vote, the meeting allows homeowners to:

  • Learn about the current financial health of the association.
  • Hear a recap of neighborhood projects and initiatives from the past year.
  • Participate in a homeowner open forum to voice concerns, ask questions, and propose ideas.
  • Meet current board members, the management team, and fellow neighbors in person.

With a quorum requirement of just 10%, every vote and presence counts. If you're unable to attend in person, you can still participate by submitting a Directed Proxy by 12:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting. Proxy forms can be mailed, emailed, faxed, or brought to the meeting by a proxy holder. To view the official Annual Meeting Notice with Directed Proxy, please click here.

Meet the Board Candidates

Three residents have been nominated to run for the two open board positions:

Jeremy Martin, a Ford Triple Senior Master Technician and former shop foreman, has lived in the neighborhood for three years. He emphasized his belief in "common sense, practicality and transparency" and expressed a desire to uphold community standards through fiscal responsibility and leadership.

Linda Langlitz, a retired ecologist and former banker, has been a part of Williamsburg Colony for over 44 years. She reflected on her contributions to the board, community events, and landscaping over the past four years and asked for residents' continued support: “May I have your support and vote for a position on our HOA board?”.

William Ramos, a facilities manager and resident since 2005, shared that he wants to bring fresh and new ideas to the table.

Each candidate brings a unique perspective and skill set to the role, making this year’s election particularly meaningful for shaping the community’s future.

How to Prepare

Residents are encouraged to arrive early for check-in and to allow time to review meeting materials. If you’re submitting a proxy instead, remember that it must be received before the meeting begins.
