Williamsburg Colony Pool Season Ends After Labor Day as Major Maintenance Is Planned
For Williamsburg Colony families hoping to squeeze in one more neighborhood swim before fall routines take over, Labor Day weekend will mark the end of the 2026 pool season.
The Williamsburg Colony pool is scheduled to remain open for Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 7, weather permitting. After the holiday, the pool will close for the season and is expected to reopen next May.
For residents, the seasonal closing is more than the usual end-of-summer transition. Major pool maintenance is also being planned, giving the community an opportunity to complete more substantial work while the facility is closed.
One Last Labor Day Swim in Williamsburg Colony
Labor Day traditionally brings summer pool season to a close, and Williamsburg Colony residents will have a final opportunity to enjoy the community amenity over the holiday weekend.
The pool is expected to be open on Labor Day as long as weather conditions allow. Residents planning a final swim should keep changing weather in mind before heading out.
Once Labor Day concludes, the gates will close for the season.
Major Williamsburg Colony Pool Maintenance Planned
During the offseason, Williamsburg Colony is preparing to undertake major maintenance at the community pool.
Specific details about the work have not yet been announced, but completing larger pool projects during the seasonal closure can help minimize disruption to residents during the months when the facility sees its heaviest use.
The timing also provides a window for maintenance before the Williamsburg Colony pool is scheduled to welcome swimmers back next May.
What Williamsburg Colony Residents Should Know
Residents should plan for the community pool to remain closed from after Labor Day until the 2027 pool season begins in May.
Additional information about the upcoming pool maintenance and next season’s reopening can be shared as plans move forward.
For now, Labor Day offers Williamsburg Colony neighbors one final chance to grab the towels, sunscreen and pool bags and enjoy a familiar piece of summer close to home before the season officially comes to an end.
