Williamsburg Colony 2026 Splash Day Set for May 23
As temperatures climb across Katy, Williamsburg Colony residents will soon have a chance to cool off together and officially welcome summer back to the neighborhood.
Splash Day is scheduled for Saturday, May 23, from noon to 2 p.m., weather permitting, at the Williamsburg Colony neighborhood pool The community event is expected to bring neighbors together for an easygoing afternoon centered around one of the things that makes summer in Texas feel like summer — water, sunshine, and time with friends close to home.
For many families in Williamsburg Colony, neighborhood events like Splash Day are about more than simply escaping the heat. They offer a chance for kids to reconnect after the school year, for parents to catch up poolside, and for new residents to feel more connected within the community.
With schools wrapping up and Memorial Day weekend approaching, the timing also marks the unofficial start of summer across Katy-area neighborhoods. Community splash events continue to be popular throughout Harris County as families look for close-to-home activities that encourage outdoor play and neighborhood interaction without needing to travel far.
Residents planning to attend are encouraged to bring towels, sunscreen, and plenty of water to stay hydrated during the afternoon festivities. Because the event is weather dependent, families may also want to monitor neighborhood communication channels for any updates in the event of rain.
As Williamsburg Colony continues building opportunities for neighbors to gather and connect, events like Splash Day help strengthen the sense of community that residents value throughout the year.
