Wild West Brewfest 2025 Brings Craft Beer, Music, and Charity to Katy This March

January 22 2025

Get ready for the Wild West Brewfest (WWBF) 2025, the must-attend event of the year in Katy, Texas. The festival is set to be the biggest one yet, with over 100 brewers showcasing more than 600 beers, new wines, food, games, and a lively atmosphere. The event will take place at Typhoon Texas, located at 555 Katy Fort Bend Road, offering ample parking and an unforgettable experience for the thousands of expected attendees.

The Wild West Brewfest, founded 14 years ago by Katy Rotarians, has grown to be a leading festival in the country, having been recognized multiple times as the “#1 Beerfest in North America.” David Loesch, Chairman of WWBF, highlighted the festival’s commitment to supporting the local community through charitable giving. “Our goal has always been to raise funds for local causes, and in the 12 years since our inception, we’ve been able to donate over $1.45 million to various charities in the area,” said Loesch.

The festival kicks off on Thursday, March 27th with the K-Town Throw-Down from 6-9 PM, offering free admission. Friday, March 28th, will feature the Launch Party from 7-10 PM, with musical guest Payton Howie, a rising star in Texas country music, lighting up the stage. Saturday, March 29th, will be the main event, running from 3-8 PM for general admission and 2-8 PM for VIPs. The Wild West Brewfest is expected to draw over 9,000 patrons for a weekend filled with music, fun, and, of course, great beer.

Loesch emphasized the event’s growth, stating, “From its humble beginnings, Wild West Brewfest has become a community celebration, and we are excited to welcome over 100 brewers this year. This is an event you don’t want to miss.”

WWBF is 100% volunteer-run, and 100% of the net proceeds from the event are donated to local charities and student scholarships. Over the years, the festival has raised significant funds for causes such as The Boaz House, Katy ARTreach, and The Graeme McDaniel Foundation, to name a few. “Every dollar raised at the event stays in the local community, helping to support students and organizations that make a real difference,” Loesch added.

For those eager to secure their spot at the festival, early bird tickets are available until January 31st, 2025, offering discounted pricing before prices increase. Early bird tickets can be purchased online at wildwestbrewfest.com.

As the event draws closer, WWBF organizers are calling on volunteers to help pour beer and ensure the smooth operation of the festival. Loesch shared, “Volunteering at WWBF is a great way to be part of something special. You get to work at the coolest event in town and help raise funds for fantastic local causes.” To learn more about volunteer opportunities and sign up, visit wildwestbrewfest.com/volunteers
