Westlake Forest Celebrates Four Yard of the Month Homes
For many Westlake/Westlake Forest residents, a beautiful neighborhood is built one front yard at a time. In August, four local homes received Westlake Forest Yard of the Month recognition for helping put that care for the community on display.
A Little Recognition for a Lot of Care
Yard of the Month may be a simple neighborhood tradition, but the recognition highlights something residents see every day: the time and effort neighbors put into caring for their homes and surroundings.
From keeping lawns maintained to tending landscaping and creating an inviting appearance, those individual efforts add up across Westlake Forest. A cared-for yard does more than brighten a single property. It contributes to the overall appearance of the street and helps foster a sense of pride in the neighborhood.
August can also be a demanding month for Houston-area landscaping, when summer heat can make routine lawn and garden care more challenging. That makes the month’s recognition a fitting opportunity to acknowledge residents who continued giving their outdoor spaces plenty of attention.
August Westlake Forest Yard of the Month Honorees
Congratulations to the residents of these four Westlake Forest homes:
- 19511 S. Haven
- 2407 Cypress Vine
- 19525 Westhaven
- 19410 Moon Hollow
The recognition offers neighbors a reason to look around and appreciate some of the details that help shape the character of Westlake Forest, from maintained lawns and flower beds to the everyday care residents put into their properties.
Neighborhood Pride Starts Close to Home
Programs such as Yard of the Month can also provide a little inspiration for neighbors working on their own landscaping. A refreshed flower bed, trimmed shrubs, seasonal color or simply a tidy front lawn can make a noticeable difference.
More importantly, those efforts are part of the shared investment residents make in their community. When neighbors care for the places they call home, the result can be seen beyond any single property line.
Congratulations to all four August Westlake Forest Yard of the Month winners, and thank you to the residents who continue helping Westlake Forest look cared for and welcoming.
