Westheimer Lakes HOA Board Candidate Solicitation Now Open Through October 15

September 25 2025

If you’ve ever wanted to have a voice in how your neighborhood operates, now is the time to step up. The Westheimer Lakes Homeowners Association is currently seeking candidates to run for the Board of Directors, with the nomination window open through October 15, 2025.

Serving on the HOA Board is more than just a title — it’s an opportunity to work alongside fellow residents to make decisions that directly impact the beauty, safety, and future of the community. From managing amenities and community events to addressing resident concerns and maintaining neighborhood standards, Board members play a vital role in helping Westheimer Lakes thrive.

Residents who are passionate about keeping the community strong, connected, and well-managed are encouraged to consider submitting their name for candidacy. Whether you’re new to the neighborhood or have called Westheimer Lakes home for years, your perspective and commitment can make a difference.

  • Support community engagement through events and outreach

The process to run is simple: just complete the candidate form available at HOA Board Candidate Form & Info.

Forms must be submitted by the October 15th deadline to be considered for the upcoming election.

Running for the Board is a great way to give back, build community connections, and gain a deeper understanding of how the neighborhood is governed. Even if you’ve never served on a board before, all you need is a desire to serve your community and a willingness to learn.

Stay tuned to My Neighborhood News for updates on the election process. And if you’re not ready to run just yet, consider attending Board meetings to learn more about how the HOA operates.

It’s your neighborhood — be a part of its future.
