Waller County Fair to Return on September 24

The Waller County Fair is back! Just a short drive down U.S. 290 towards Austin, the Waller County Fair is held at its own grounds in Hempstead on FM 359, just south of Business U.S. 290. From September 24 through October 1, the Fair will feature live music performances, rodeo events, livestock shows, vendors and much more. 

This year, the Fair will host more than 100 events throughout the course of the week. In addition to rodeo events and livestock shows, the Fair will feature a carnival and numerous live music performances. Headliners listed below will perform at the Pavillion. About the Waller County Fair

Supporting the youth of Waller County for over 75 years, the Waller County Fair Association is a charitable tax exempt 501(c)3 non-profit organization. The mission of the Waller County Fair Association (WCFA) is to promote a wholesome and productive lifestyle for area youth. The WCFA is a volunteer organization. Each year, the organization appoints their board of directors and works with many members of the community to help produce their programs and events. The WCFA utilizes its available resources to provide many academic and vocational scholarship opportunities. The overall goal is to develop future generations that exhibit strong character, an excellent work ethic, good sportsmanship, and a strong sense of personal responsibility. Since 1945, it has grown and added fun activities, community facilities, and expanded the scholarship opportunities.
